From the inner depths of our soul comes the underlying truth of nothingness... Funny enough the sentence that resonates in those depths is a truth a came across on the early and more trouble phases of my adult life : " The point of life is either a lifeless point or a pointless life..."

I don't know where you live and who are you, I did research about Into the Wild for my English teacher and I fell here, in your website (probably cause you talk about the film). I tried to understand everything you write but it is a bit difficult because I'm french... But I juste want to tell you that I loved what I understood in your words !
I don't really know why I posted a comment there, you probably don't care about it but anyway... If you wanna see my photos-website, it is http://bienveillance.skyrock.com

It's from twisted depths, one is born. This is one's truth. It's from this place all is found and the outer form is casted away. This it the place I live from, it's alive and free. Embrace and enjoy, the pain will guild you to places that will give you a whole new understanding to youness.

LOL, I now attract religious nuts to my blog, great...
As I don't belive in censoring stuff I just want to quickly say the blog does not serve my spiritual needs because I HAVE NONE... And if I did it would be religious needs, a bunch of weirdos that refuse to look at the evidence and understand that in all likelihood (Like 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999%) GOD doesn't exist, and if he does and his as described honestly I think non-existence seems more appropriate... Which by the way the fear of meaning nothing is what causes all this stupidity... I am nothing, my blog is nothing, I am going nowhere, so no need for religion...
why would you choose such a life? with so many options - beauty, goodness, truth are waiting.
why would you choose such a life? Truth, beauty, and goodness are waiting...
The question is not why would you choose such a life, the question is do you have a choice in the matter? The only way you have a choice is to pretend, and that is not a choice because you know in the end you are probably wrong
Don't get lost if you do not think your going to be found again.
Hi Pedro, I came across your blog. I find it interesting, and your responses to your commentors (religiou 'nutbags') interesting. Are you saying you're not a nutbag? Who decides that. Isn't it nutty to choose dark, depressing themes when you could choose light, happy, inspiring things to think about, and inspire others? Is this not a less 'crazy' way to approach life, one that doesn't end in stealing your life. I like life. Life is good, sometimes hard, but you grow through it. God is good. I know you don't believe he exists. Obviously, you know 99.99999...% of everything there is to know, so you immediately castigate those who profess belief in the Bible. And do you know the statistical probablility that life evolved - in light of micro-genetics? Evolutionists still don't know where life came from! Do you know the Bible is the most historically authentic, reliable book on earth? I challenge you. Show me it isn't. Check out this site to read about the Bible's reliability: http://www.carm.org/can-we-trust-new-testament-historical-document.
Jesus said, "The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it to the fullest." (John 10:10). Don't count yourself out.
Pretending! and chosing ....yeh i can role with agreeing with that! its the first ive read of ya stuff but will continue frum here onwards.....i like REAL!
Hello you all, and thanks for the comments, all of them are welcome.
Shane, if you get lost you might find yourself somewhere else, if you are lost to begin with what choice do you have but to search...
Now for the Ohh God again. First of all I know 0.000000000000000000001% (maybe) of what there is to know. So don't assume I think I know all, because I don't, I luckily I know I don't. Absolute truths are in my world very rare, if any (but I a sure you have a bunch of them).
As for the light bullshit, I am very much aware of how ignorance is bliss... However I can't ignore that I am not ignorant, that I have a mind and it actually is used for thoughts, all kinds of thoughts, good and bad, which by the way is just a matter of perception but that is beside this point. I could say a lot but the one I love from your comment is "God is Good", LOL, says who? If he exists and created all, well he is good and bad, pretty much like the rest of us (after all didn't he create us? :P). As for the bible, LOL, well I might be a nut, in fact I am in a lot of regards, but please spare me. The document that states the world is 10.000 years old, is this what you are using to prove the existence of God? Well the greeks had older gods why are not those real? Why is yours the real one? Really need to write a post on religion one of these days. The bible is a nice piece of literature, with some historical bases, however it as been analysed and studied by smarter people than myself or you, and their conclusions are very interesting, like did you know there are 5 Abrahams in the bible? As for science not having all the answers, who said it did? But it is not about to give up on finding them. What I can tell you is the gaps in science that 100 years people used to justify god now they can't any more, science is a iterative process and it takes time. Understand that answers come to those that wait. Just because I don't know everything, doesn't mean that it is not all there to be found. Even if we find it is all pointless, should we ignore the evidence based on some desert dwellers vision of the world 2000 years ago? Please! I don't go and bother people and their faith, believe whatever you want as long as you keep clear of people who don't care like me. By the way something that religious nuts have a history of not being able to do...
For the final comment, well I might write more one of these days, it has been a bit crazy lately :)
Existential Nihilism is a really interesting way of being; having fallen into similar ways, i can't help but feel nothing except frustration at myself and the ignorant people around me senselessly grasping at this and that! Only to find it just makes their Ambition diminish in their contentment.
As long as someone doesn't feel sorry for themselves *in my opinion* Have they wasted their seemingly pointless life!
I love your blog! I stumbled upon it by clicking "next post" at the top of the blogger page.
I will continue to check back for new updates and posts!
"...We are cruel to ourselves if we try to live in this world without knowing about God whose world it is and who runs it. The world becomes a strange, mad, painful place, and life in it a disappointing and unpleasant business, for those who do not know about God. Disregard the study of God, and you sentence yourself to stumble and blunder through life blindfold, as it were, with no sense of direction and no understanding of what surrounds you. This way you can waste your life and your soul." (Knowing God, J.I. Packer, page 17)
Hi all, thanks for all the comments really appreciate them. I have been trying to get some mental disposition to write a post, however the motivation is not there.
Of course your comments do help, and I am writing in relation to them. I guess it is a start...
As for Beth, come on I think I made my point about god or godlike entities very clear, or didn't I? Yes, if I believed in fairy tales I would be happier. Probably I would, but, and this is the kicker, I don't believe in fairy tales. God is an interesting concept to keep content those who can not accept their pointless existence. As for me I have no problem with accepting it, still sad about it, but I cannot live in pretend land as you religious people seem to want to live in. And again not problem with you beliefs, you can believe in buggy man for all I care, simply don't try and pass irrational beliefs to others. It seems desperate, like you need the acceptance of others so you feel better about that fact you believe in fairy tales.
Today I am going to review a few types of websites that are becoming trendsetting.
Mainly what I am noticing is a mixture of textured and web 2.0 websites. My favorites are textured and almost have a 3d realistic look. Overlays, distressed edges and things of that nature.
Textured sites get the user involved in your site and makes them want to read more.
